In its early stages, it may go virtually unnoticed, but over time it can lead to bleeding gums, gum recession, bad breath, loose teeth, and even tooth loss. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The good news is that, when diagnosed and treated properly, it is possible <strong>to control periodontal disease and preserve your teeth for many years<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At <a href=\"https:\/\/sdsdental.es\/en\/\"><strong>SDS Dental Clinic<\/strong><\/a> , we take a progressive and personalized approach to periodontal treatment. Not all patients require the same stages of treatment: the treatment will depend on the depth of the periodontal pockets, the degree of inflammation, the loss of supporting structures around the teeth, and each patient\u2019s response to treatment. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Below, we explain the main steps in simple terms.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Periodontal Reevaluation<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After completing the necessary stages of treatment, we perform another periodontal examination.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During this visit, we verified the following:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the depth of the periodontal pockets;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>bleeding gums;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the level of inflammation;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>tooth mobility;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the progress of the treated areas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We also compared the new measurements with those taken at the start of treatment.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The goal is to verify that the disease is under control and to identify any areas that may still require attention.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">6.
